...I have 12 and am getting the warnings. When that happens, all the windows go white for a while and I just have to leave things be or everything goes into a perpetual "not responding" loop if I touch o much as one key or click on something. If that happens I either have to close everything in Task Manager and start again, or reboot the system if TM doesn't come up.

    Blech, well, that blows. :blank:

I tend to have TM up when rendering, just to keep an eye on things. That and I close everything else except Chrome and my Winamp.

I hit 7.4GB once when I had my music app and DS open... :ahhh:

on the topic of hardware, I need to reboot my computer to enter BIOS. I forgot what type of memory is installed. I think it is DDR3 1333, 1600 or 18??. None of the software programs that I use show the type of DDR3 module that is installed. Later.

Waded through all the posts on RDNA for Reality 4.. some bugs here and there, for sure, but looks like the vendor is responsive so I expect a bugfix release "DAZ Soon".

Still fun to use, though! Going to go home and render tonight, stop on the way home for a six pack, wheeeeeeee!!

It's super-dreary here.. about 48F, slate gray sky, nobody in the office.. it'd be nap time if I were home..

Spending my time in the Reality forum.. was used with DS in pre-viz for a couple of movies. Heh. I wonder where else DS is hiding?

Morning. Nice smells and bright sunshine through ragged low cloud after a stormy stormy night. Further North stuff is trashed from big ice storms but is quite pea eful here now today :)

You can tell them 'no' sometimes. 4 day work week is plenty to buy content. ;)

I just did that today hehe, tell them no I mean :)

Hmmm but I am a new hire so it will not work. Tried to tell them I would not work thanksgiving day but I worked that day anyways.

One day you will be senior enough for that to work :)

V4 was advertising pillows and a good night's sleep on TV for 12 months or so here. I know lots of people who use Poser in their pipelines hehe including someone who does great anime for TVCs with version 4

Reading some emails about colour space I realise that most articles on the subject might as well be written in latin or etruscan or something else incomprehensible to most film makers. That is my complaint

Will try rendering Genesis tonight after I run erands
