MelanieL, I'm so glad that "my' methods are emulated. I think I use the blur so much because I see the world through cataracts. When I get around to fixing that maybe my renders will look different.

I would beg to disagree, Zawarkal; you get the concept extraordinarily well. Your submissions aren't always "funny", but they are consistently provocative, brilliantly artistic, thought-provoking, and occasionally just a tad-bit disturbing. In other words, the very definition of art.

Not exactly proud of this one. I didn't want to correct the clipping issues because I felt that wouldn't be using the poses I drew, but it's so obvious.

I wouldn't think that very minor adjustments to poses to fix clipping (or feet) would be outside the rules.Would have to check with Totte though.

Poses can be adjusted (some just won't work on certain figures), as long as the "pose is there".

I finally got this one to an acceptable point.I say acceptable because I've been struggling with the lighting and materials for 3 days now :(

..actually looks pretty nice. Never thought to use the Noise Removal tool in Gimp to save a couple days rendering time.
To fix shaders on cars on 3DL I often use a couple freebies called Super Shine Shaders and Super Shine Top Coat.. they work great for any polished coloured surface. If you are going to be creating scenes with a lot of shiny metallic objects I would also recommend DZFire's Real Metals available here in the store.

Homecoming is fast approaching in Pasadena for the game against their archrivals, the Stingrays. Knotty Nell has volunteered her parents barn for the cheer leaders and football squad to build their joint float. The cheerleaders have shown up and are rocking out to Justin Bieber.... but what happened to the boys. There s not a hurler to be seen. You just can t depend on men.
This one is just delightful, gopherus! Especially because I can relate to it so well: I was born, and grew up, and went to school, in that town -- Pasadena, Texas (immediately east of Houston).
So..., yeah. Sweet.
(And there is a 'hurler' to be seen!)
@ Kyoto Kid I grabbed the freebie shaders from sharecg and had a look at the ones in the Daz store.Somehow I ended up buying angel wings :lol: , anyway ,,I'll give them a try later on today.Thank you for the help :)

@icecrmn actually the stingrays hull and cabin, after switching textures, is what the girls are decorating, i took off the wings so they could get closer... oh, and the projectile vomit is actually a modified freebie from mostdigitalcreations called splat!

@totte lol! does the girl come with the camel as a standard feature? that is such an upscale camel/car lot... are the camels required to wear diapers? good one!
