Now I think they are all loaded. Earlier it only showed 3 for me.

eta: Just looked in my cart and, yes, they are showing prices.

They aren't all showing; K4 UV’s for G2M & G2F by Slosh isn't on the page. That's the only one I missed. According to this page: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/49616/ it was the Day 1 freebie.

I was hoping the K4 UV's would be on the catch up.

Great selection of Freebies. Thanks everyone.

Shame the K4 UVs don't seem to be going up on the catch up. I missed the first day :(

I want to thank all the vendors for their generosity this year. I picked up some very fun, and in many cases, very useful, items, and I look forward to using them. :)

Thanks again, to all the vendors who participated!

Yes. Thank all of you. The collection this year was memorable and wonderfully creative. Beautiful (and sometimes hilarious) stuff.

    Thank you all again.

I sure hope they fix the glitch and include the K4 UVs as I have been kicking myself for missing that one as I didn't catch the freebie offer until a couple days in and it was already gone.

Just to let everyone know... I had no idea the K4 UVs would not be in the list, and I'm sure it wasn't intentional. When DAZ gets back in the offices, I will ask them to put them out for a day since they got missed for some reason.

thanks Slosh...you don't know of any tutorials showing how to make alternate uv's do you? It's just I'm looking to learn how and can't find anything anywhere.

I don't know of any tutorials specific to making alternate uvs. I had to wing it the first time, then each successive product, I built on the previous experience. Depending on the uv editor you are using, I know there are YouTube videos that demonstrate techniques, but none of them are showing how to start with UV "X" and end up with UV "Y"

I personally use UVLayout by Headus. my first set, M4 for Genesis 2 Male, was done in Maya. No matter which program, though, it all comes down to moving point by point to match the uv you are converting to.

Oh, I can't do that! LOL. First of all, I don't know that I could devote enough time to explaining things, plus a fella has to keep some of his secrets, right?

The process sounds very mysterious, time-consuming, and concentration-intensive to me. Thank you, Slosh, for sharing with us.

What happened to the last three? I didn't have an internet connection yesterday due to reasons, and today they're giving a 404 error.

I've reported this -- I'm guessing they hit their original 2-day cutoff.

thanks Slosh, I have uvlayout...how do you get the uv map into their as well as the model? If I knew that I could probably work it out from there. It's nice to know that it's possible to do it in UVlayout though...off to do some googling.

You need to import both models as one... In other words, if you were converting V4 to Dawn, you would load both models in DAZ Studio, lower them to base resolution, then export together as a single model. Load them in UVLayout choosing "Edit" instead of "New". Then isolate different sections, such as Face for each model. You will see V4 and Dawn faces superimposed in the uv window. Now, drag the Dawn uvs around to match the V4 uvs. Thanks to a request by me, Phil Dench has written a " snap point to point" feature into UVLayout, which makes it easier to match uv points. Once finished, save the double model, then take it into a modeling program (for me, it's ZBrush) and delete the V4 model, leaving only Dawn with her new uvs. Export this .obj and load Dawn (original, not this new one) into DAZ Studio. Use the Load UVs feature to import the new Dawn uvs, which will match up with V4 uvs. You can now put V4 textures on Dawn.

Clearly, a more detailed step by step might be necessary for importing the new uvs to Studio and where to save them, but I've given you the general idea.

Thank you so much Slosh! I had started to think that way and just tried to use m4 and dusk as a single object...thank you so much for your help.

    Hey All :-)

I saw the Artemesia Gown in an email but when I came a few days later I couldn't find it and the link from the email brings up "404 Error Page Not Found'?

    Any knowledge?

    Thanks! :cheese:
