Christmas Cards for WanCow

As many of y'all know, DAZ artist Wancow (short for "Wandering Cowboy") is recovering from a long-awaited pancreatic cancer surgery in Livermore, CA. To cheer him up a bit, I suggest that those of us who know him (online, anyway) design Christmas card posters for him and post them here: I'll link this thread on the Caringbridge journal so that he'll have a chance to see them.

The latest journal entry is at
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/christianholm/journal/view/id/549b760a8b5cd3625a0c6968
and the thread on his condition is
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/42616/P90/

Let's try to use one or more of his own pieces, if we can, to show our appreciation as well:

I am guilty of not having any of WanCow's items to make a card with, and thus it is a simple one with just text.

I am by no means a seasoned user of CG, in fact it was by reading threw some of the threads started by WanCow, that I learned a great majority of what I don't know about CG. And thus I still have allot to learn, and will always have allot to learn.

So even if I don't have any 3d items made by WanCow, I have allot of knowledge because of him.

I thank you, I hope you have a comfortable holiday, and hope you get well soon, David Allen.

Used Wancow's Belle Gown and turned her into the Christmas Fairy on top of the tree.

Merry Christmas Chris, and best wishes for a good recovery,

Apparantly Wancow has to have further surgery this week to clear a blockage in his intestine. Doesn't look like he'll be out of hospital before Christmas.

I saw that too. I'm working on a card for him when I've got a few minutes, but the Belle skirt doesn't lend itself to the pose I want.

I don't have any cards made but want to let Wancow know I am thinking about him and hoping his surgery went well. Hugs from Florida Christian!

I was hoping to be able to put something together, but I seem to have wasted what little spare time I had on working on some of my own freebies... To be honest, I'm not a very festive person and even if I hadn't backed my car over my muse ( it was quite sad and tragic and did you know, you only get one muse per lifetime assigned to you... Unless it's a suicide, then you are still only allowed two more and then you are on your own... and so I'm on my own)... But even if my muse had made it and technically the alcoholism would probably have done her in first, but even if that had not been the case, I still have a hard time doing anything festive for the holidays...
So, falling short of a render, I want to wish Mr Wandering cowboy a complete and speedy recovery, and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I know that is almost a silly wish, when one is in the hospital, but none the less... I wish him the closest approximation to it that fate will allow... Get well soon Wancow... Merry Christmas!
    Best wishes, Vic Cook.

There haven't been any updates to the Caring Bridge page. Hope Christian is getting fluids and gaining strength. I posted and told him the forums were missing him.
