Hello Draagonstorm ,

i have bought your Lie Baker , i can not understand what you mean with the simple tutorial.
Just the other scripts as skin builder and other works perfect.
Can you make a tutorial ( You Tube ) how this works ?

Thanks ...

John ..

This script is used to make reloading faster for textures sets that are created using layered images (LIE).

For example a skin texture created with Skin Builder and then different makeup layers, then saved either as a scene or Material Preset, can take up to 4 minutes to reload, without LIE Baker. Take those same settings, and bake the layers using LIE Baker (Which will create a Material Preset) and save the scene. The next time you want to load the scene, or use the Material Preset, it will be a matter of seconds instead of minutes.

Sorry DraagonStorm I'm most likely being thick again but I can't seem to get this to work.

I have a scene with a G2F Victoria 6 based model onto which I have used Skin Builder and Skin Overlay. As predicted it takes several minutes to load. I ran LIE Baker and saved the scene. The new material preset appeared so it seems to have done it's job but the scene is still taking the same time to load.

I must have missed a step somewhere, sorry. Can you point me right please?

Edit: I am also intermittently getting error messages about it not being able to find textures in a Runtime folder (which doesn't seem to exist). Not sure if this is part of the problem or something else.

Fixed it. Apparently the script doesn't create the Runtime/Textures folder if it doesn't already exist and with no folder to write the textures to the script doesn't work (no surprise). I manually created the folder and all now works fine. Thanks for another great product!
