Looking for Shaders

Hello,

I've been advancing my skill and learned how to make my own clothing in ZBrush or make adjustments to current items. Other than ShareCG and Renderosity are there other places I can find FREE or purchase shaders? I am specifically looking for clothing and skin shaders.

Thank you!

Suggestions would be great!

Ghost!

I know there is a bunch of them at RDNA in members freebies forum, and maybe in the main freebie downloads. Look for the old downloads, I got around 50 or more from there.

I have several shaders on my website. See link below.

You don't need Fabricator to use them.

If you are also using Poser,
This little tool works real good,
You will find this icon in materials
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/?item_id=67664
Think they also made one for Daz, Not sure

    Shaders or Shader presets?

And Poser or Studio? Ones for one of those programs will not work in the other, although the seamless tiles in most of both can be resaved as shader presets for the other.

    Either or... shaders or presets.

I use both Poser and DAZ but mostly I use DAZ and ZBrush to make my own clothing or adjust clothing for my figures.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

I have some cloth shaders in my store. There are various others generally in the store too if you search under shaders.

Caleida (Khory) has a nice series of shaders/presets on her website there are some freebies there. We've had quite a renaissance in Shaders here on this site in the past five years or so, but most of the freebies were from earlier Christmas giveaways. Check the Freebies forum for links -- although by this time a lot of them are broken.

I remember my first shader expansion was using those at Calida3d and was very happy with the shaders, prices, and overall helpfulness of the website.

I also got a lot of mileage out of the two Sha's Shader freebies at sharing.

There is one more thing you can do.
Get yourself a high quality camera and make some.
Borrow a camera or something but if you don't want to spend the time and they can take a bit of time depending on what you are after..
Best bet is hit the stores.
Like Eva1 posted, She has some for sale and wilmap has a cool site too.
I made them for a freebie a long time ago.
It was a lot of work because I had to make my own maps for it and all.
Textured some armor for the Troll,
Came out good and put it up as a freebie at ShareCG. Everyone seemed to love it.
Freebie for a freebie, LOL Oh well.
Anyway, You learn from it and If you are good enough, Make some money too but what I think is best of all.
    It is Fun

There have been some really great shaders in the PC+ over the last year as well. I was never into the concept of shaders until Marieah started running her contest, which was what really got my brain focused on how much much you could do with them. Once I "got" it though, wow... Now it's very rare that I do a render that doesn't use at least one or two shaders just to tweak elements, especially when I'm working with items that started off with poser materials.

I would recommend checking under "Texture" and "2d" at ShareCG ,and find the seamless texture packs to make your own shaders from, just watch the "Usage restrictions".
