Window shopping did you know..... Commercial

Did you know there was a way to fill the empty window with a single click? There is. The Hampton window has a prop that loads with a window full of sale items. This also means you could with the diffuse channel project any image you want to appear in the store front.
An existing picture of a holiday window theme or a deep sea ocean scene. You can have a lot of fun creating images that are worth a double take with just a few simple clicks of a button.

Well that's certainly cool! Thank you!
Its like a TV screen behind the glass so you still get the reflections and if you add the frosted window there is no conflict.
Like TV it works best with head on shots that don't distort with perspective.
Here I did a quick Holiday window. Just dropped the image into the diffuse channel and used the Horizontal and vertical adjustment dials at the bottom of the shader options.
That's a neat idea! Wouldn't it also work to load a plane and use the Diffuse channel for its image, and scoot it back so mannequins/etc could be placed in the window in front of the plane too? So you'd have scenery and props in the window?
Your set reminded me of Woolworths, a dime department store that sadly went out of business years ago. But fond memories! (Edit- a bit more formal than Woolworths, but the large department store setup in general.)
oh wow, didn't even realize this was one of your sets, should have paid more attention
flat broke from the holidays, will wish list for now
Yes you can or could push it back and use it as a backdrop. Also If anyone missed this I did a free snowflake giveaway.

i see you have done a seasonal add on for holiday shopping... will you eventually do a blown up desolated rampaged by giant mutant zombie space monsters from outer space version for the type of scenes i normally render?
Thank you so much for those! And perhaps you WILL get some snow for Christmas.
Maybe, we do get snow but not like when I was kid up north, freezing rain we get plenty of. Glad you like the flakes.
ok yup, i can work with this .....
big mechs walking through an open fire.....
I have a plan for this, but stuck rendering something else. Hopefully I can get going with this set, I just saw using Dogz Shattered and those large windows, some joe quick Vandals, what can go wrong?
I love it!
i was going to try to do a broken window effect... but decided i was to lazy last night, so i used bits and pieces of the shanty town to cover the windows instead, as i was doing that i got the idea to add some of the shanty town structures to the roof, i think it creates a very post apocalyptic look. The plane is from survivors the plane, and its butted up against the rock golem in his piled up faze. I also littered in some bits and parts from bot shop. The ivy on the walls and on the lamp post are from Jungle Head, I replaced one of the parking meters with the bent up one from power up... but unfortunately when i post worked in the flames it got covered up. there is also some other signs and debris from that set but not much of it is actually seen in the final image. there are 3 M180 Walkers, a scuttle bot and a Squid Mech in the scene. Oh yeah, back behind the squid mech you can barely make out The End of the Line
Opps, vandals!
i was going to do something like that, but i was just too lazy
