Would this be in bad taste..?

Regarding what I should and should not post in The Commons...
I've spent the better part of the last two years working on a short video that I made almost entirely in DAZ Studio, but it's a book trailer and I don't know if it would be cool to post the link here, for two reasons: 1.) essentially, it is advertising my product , and 2.) it might not belong in the commons - but I really don't want to put it over in the Animation forum, which is a very nice place, but isn't as well populated.
Please advise.
Thanks!

AFAIK you can post such here in the Commons with a "commercial" tag in the title.
I think the only thing they dislike is posting in multiple threads which is why a choice need be made.
Off site links to commercial products could frowned on and may be removed but a video link only is ok.
I think more would see it in animation as it will move off the first page quickly in commons, Art studio an alternative.
I would think since it's a trailer for a book rather then a product at a competing business, or even a product here, you might not really need the commercial tag, just my 2 pennies. Others make promotional items like book covers, logos and advertisements using DAZ products and don't tag their finished efforts as commercial. I would put it under Art Studio though, say "Look at the video I made!" and explain why you made it. I look forward to seeing it, no matter where it ends up.
Thanks so much for the responses. I think I will post it in Art Studio. Wish me luck :-)
Add a link to it from here.
Isn't that allowed only for DAZ vendors?

Yes, any Offsite Commercial threads are removed as offending against the DAZ 3D ToS

Ah, well that would explain why some people post that way and why many people go away.
