Need a real mouse!

Er, by real, I mean realistic 3d mouse. ;)

Now I mostly use the house mouse, but the legs are very toony and the face has zero morphs or anything, its very basic.

There's a couple different rats. There's a couple toon mice. Adorable, yes, but I truly would love to see Daz make a good, high quality 3d mouse.

I would be willing to pay a good amount for that. Or for a new cat with kitten morphs. I'd also be willing to help anyone working on a mouse to make poser and daz fur for it. I just reAAAAAAAAAlly want a mouse.

i know CP has one but i've been not as thrilled with cp purchases, animals in particular.

Hence my request for a very good quality mouse. (Alessandro? Noggin????) I know great minds are busy with a multitude of things, but this is my little plea for a wonderfully cute little critter. :)

And Happy New Year

I can't find it, but the Jtrout mouse exists (or existed) somewhere, perhaps your google-fu is better than mine. It is a very low resolution mouse so it will really only work for backgrounds though, and some of the poses have issues. Somebody else produced some additional poses for it: http://www.sharecg.com/v/40802/gallery/11/Poser/JTrouts-Mouse-Poses . I know you are looking for a high-resolution mouse, but perhaps this one could still be of help for certain renders.

I have that, and have used it (made my own materials for it, even) but while it is an adorable freebie it is far from a high quality mousie. It has holes, and the limbs are apparently separate meshes connected to the body as they poke into the body and some poses show holes as well. It's a lovely freebie, but we still really really need a good mouse with many facial, nose, ear and whisker morphs, as well as a mouth that opens!

And a male & female & babies and adolescents and a dozen textures and traps of all sorts and mouse habitats of all sorts and some expressions & poses but mostly panic, fear & eating.

Sounds like a whole world of opportunities for the rodentally minded.

Though I'd also love a new mousie that uses today's tech, I'm still in love with the housemouse. He came out even before Vicky 3 because I remember doing a render of housemouse welcoming Vicky 3 to his runtime. A picture that's long gone, along with many many poses for him from the old days.

I think this mouse is just cute. And affordable!

As for the question... yes, I too believe we need more up-to-date animals. It is not just about MilDog and MilCat. I would look to Alessandro_AM, his animals are really fine. We just need much more.

That's the JTrout mouse mentioned before. Cute, but not perfect and it can't be used in that many poses without needed to hide some mesh issues :(

You said it is hard to find, so I searched for it and posted here for those who didn't have it. The hunt for the modern mouse is on ;).

Here's a pic i did for Christmas with Jtrout's mouse... displacement is a bit too high (originally the mice were much further from the camera so i had the displacement higher, oops).

Also, a picture of the housemouse using the "tiny" mouse morph freebie, with the fur I made for it with LAMH
Fur did not have a good result with the weird mesh that the Jt mouse has so i went with displacement instead

House mouse is pretty darn cute with fur but soooooo wish for a real mouse with lots of morphs :(

Oh so adorable! They all look so touchable. That sweater looks great too.

Tiny mouse freebie? I guess I missed that one, doesn't sound familiar.

Found the tiny mouse morph for any who missed it. It's by salter design for the Faeriewylde Christmas 2009. I don't think I spelled that right. Anyway, here's the link...scroll down for the link to the download page...

Just a note that the morph doesn't work too well in DS. If you pose the tail it turns into into a jagged mess, and the feet if you bend the toes can do some really weird shapes.... but I parented another mouse's tail and scaled it down. ;)
