DAZ - The Sale just broke AGAIN

I had a cart loaded and then something went boom and the prices suddenly went way up. Looking at it, I can see that I'm now not getting any discount except the standard DO pricing on DAZ Original products released in 2014 (example Daz Dragon 3). Also, a number of other vendors stopped getting the 2014/2013 discounts entirely (example Dimension3D File reference Editor) The punchable item I had in the cart was the brand new chained bodysuit, but I tried putting something else in instead to see if that was the problem. Nope, the sale still isn't working. WTH DAZ?

I actually got it briefly working they way i expected it to and re-purchased a number of products I previously purchased figuring I would have Daz fix everything later as I was confident it wouldnt last. I was right. And of course this would all happen on the day the punchable sale ends. Smh.

You're saying that you ARE seeing a 2013/14 discount on Dimension3D products and on the DAZ Dragon 3?

What time zone are you in? It is the last day of the sale (frankly, I'm happy and looking forward to tomorrow's offers), so it could expire in some areas... I guess so. Or just a glitch. You can always buy and request a partial refund.

The Dragon 3 pro bundle and ALL of Dimension3D's store is discounting for me. I used the Ogora and the Chained body suit as tests. Without either there was no discount but with one or both there was.

...OK have the Patchwork Shoes 5 in the cart (which is a qualifying punchable item), next, placed the Advanced Wood and Metal Shaders (which has been out for more than 60 days), in the cart from my wishlist and no discount shows, not even when I go to the checkout page.

I tried that exact same test and doesnt work for me either. But you add Ogora as Mattymanx suggested and it does work.
    Go Figure.

...yes, only when I add Ogoro (with the shoes still in the cart) is the discount on the Shaders applied. Without him the price reverts back to the full value (even though the shoes are still there).

However, did another test adding Natural Patchwork 5 for the Patchwork Shoes to my cart instead and the discount now shows up. Makes me wonder if there is a minimum value required for the discount (10$ perhaps as both the shoes and the textures come to 10.44$ and Ogoro is 13.27$)?

    -----

    ETA

Nope that wasn't it as after removing the shoes the discount remained (though the textures are pretty useless without the shoes). So the discount should apply with just the Patchwork Shoes 5 as they are listed as a qualifying item (just checked the promo page again to make sure).

Its not. Using Patchwork Shoes 5 as a triggerable item still doesnt work.

Had a full cart yesterday that I reduced on principle when the way the discounts were stacking changed and the prices went up...then a full cart today which won't apply the discount at any time today

...with all the trouble people are having, I think Daz needs to extend the deadline until at least through tomorrow.

Of course after fixing the issues first.

It looks like only the Clubbing Cowl Dress and newer items are counting as punchables. Any that are further down the page aren't. Any of the items that are newer work the way they are supposed to with the discounts.
So if the older items listed as punchable are not supposed to be punchable, they should have been removed. Really.

Looks like I'm not getting the 55% PC discount on pre-2014 items. Was getting it when I initially starting filling my cart last night. Went to bed, woke up this morning and starting adding items... discount is gone.

    Example:

Jack of Hearts for M4: $24.95
should be 80%* off for V4/M4 sale
then 55%* off for being pre-2014
    so $24.95 x .8 x .55=$2.25
which it was when I first put it in last night
now it's $4.99, which is just the 80% off

*triggering/punchable item in cart is DM's Drake Tower

If the discounts don't stack, OK that's fine. But I didn't read anywhere where they wouldn't in this example. Also, as I said, that's the way it worked last night...

If they aren't supposed to stack, I'm taking a bunch of stuff out of my cart. But I don't want to do that if it's currently just a glitch that'll be worked out before the sale ends. Timing is very poor on this. I've still got 60 (out of 80+) pages yet to browse on the pre-2014 category. And with the sale ending in less than 6 hours, I don't want to have rush and go back through my entire cart deciding what I want to keep and what I don't.

    Clarification would be AWESOME! Thanks!

...I've seen a previous day's items still qualify for triggering the discounts before.

One way or the other, Daz needs to clean this up as it is has been very misleading and frustrating for a lot of people.

Actually the Ad in the scrolling banner does say that the 80% is not good with any other offer (i.e. doesn't stack).

    UPDATE

Just read the fine print on the V4/M4 80% off sale: EXCLUDES ALL OTHER OFFERS

I knew it was too good to be true. I guess I should've checked out last night when the discounts WERE stacking. Oh well... looks like I'm about to clear out half my basket. :(

On a semi-related note, it sure would be nice if there was some way to make a change to the cart besides one item at a time. Y'know like check boxes, where you can make bulk changes.

Since, I'm a greedy little weasel, I had, well let's just say an excessive amount of M4/V4 items in my cart thinking I was getting the extra 55% discount, too. At the pace it takes to scroll through the items, select one to remove, then wait for the cart to update (currently, the site seems sloooooow, unsurprisingly), I'll be finished about the time the sale ends.

It seems features like this were standard on most sites before everyone went to the Windows-8 style paradigm. Bummer.

I was enjoying shopping, until the total in my cart doubled.

After seeing this thread, I simply removed almost everything in my cart, and the price dropped to 1/10 what I had originally.

Aaaaand now I can't even ACCESS my shopping cart. I get it, the site is likely under a heavy load due to the sale, but this is just ridiculous. Right now, I can't even make a purchase at all, let alone decide what I actually WANTED to remain in my cart.

At this point, if DAZ doesn't extend the sale, I won't be purchasing anything. It's simply impossible. I'm pretty sure they want my money. Assuming THEY can view my cart, they'll see that even though I intend to take out roughly half of what's in there currently, they're still throwing away a substantial sale.

I don't want to be THAT guy. But it appears that they won't even take my money...

...OK the glitch was never fixed, deleted everything in my cart. Daz just lost money from me.

I really miss the old days when sales were straightforward without all this "voodoo math" mumbo jumbo and BOGO rubbish.
