I had to cancel my credit card and therefore I cannot even use PayPal over here in Argentina.

PayPal does NOT accept Argentinean debit cards.

Anyone knows if there is another payment method accepted on DAZ?

The only thing I can think of is for you to pay someone else to buy a gift card for you.

I wish that one of my friends had a credit card or PayPal.

    Bad luck :(

I have the money, but not the required payment method. *blush*

Do they have prepaid MasterCard or prepaid Visa cards in Argentina? They work in the Daz Store.

They are just for local purchases within Argentina. :/

Get a pre-paid credit card. You basically load the credit card with money directly from your bank account. The credit card is only good for the amount of money you have pre-loaded onto it. Then use that credit card to make the purchase.

A lot of people use loadable credit cards exclusively for online purchasing and only ever load it with the amount they need for their immediate purchase. This way if their credit card ever becomes compromised the hackers won't be able to do anything with it because it will have no funds available to it. You can even load them through your online banking. Best of all there's no worry about credit checks because there actually isn't any credit involved. You're basically pre-paying your credit card bill to use it.

A lot of parents will get these cards for their kids and charge them with a monthly allowance when they're in college as it's an easy way to get funds to them and also prevents the kid from going into debt on a spending spree.

Oh crap. Didn't see your post about Argentina only allowing pre-paid credit cards to be used in Argentina. What a ridiculous limitation.

:( Yep, I got a prepaid one, but just for local stuff. That doesn't help me at all.

A friend told me that on the "black market" you can load credit to PayPal for a fee of 35%. Oh my...

You do not need a credit card to get a PayPal account; all you need is a bank account.
You can Transfer Money from your bank account to PayPal without credit card.
