Editor's Choice - Sales and Promotions

Okay I am at a loss for how the Editor's Choice - Sales and Promotions works...

I hit the banner image to pull up the list of items. I picked two items, total $54. But no discount.

Is there a condition I am missing? Like one new item or something? These promotions with no details confuse the $%@ out of me every time they happen.

    Okay, a little more detail to add...

    I have this in my cart:
    Sci Fi Crew Quarters $36.95 $16.95
    Contemporary Living $34.95
    Tongue Control for Genesis 2 Male(s) and Female(s) $19.95

    So Sci Fi Crew Quarters gets the correct discount.

    Remove Sci Fi Crew Quarters, which I don't need, and the discount doesn't transfer to one of the two remaining items. Now I know both of these are "New" items, but they are listed as applicable to the sale. So is the sale broken? The ad wrong? Both?

    OK. Have an reply. There was a qualifier in the email about this sale, but it was omitted from the banner.

    *Discounts do not apply to New Releases. Editor's Choice Artists are Stonemason & Zev0

    No offense (I don't want to kill the messenger) but that is BS.

    If that is the case, then why are the items showing up on http://www.daz3d.com/editor-s-choice ?

    If a customer clicks on the link for the sale, then the items that are part of the sale should be shown. The first four items on the page should not all be shown but not applicable.

    It's like a car showroom with a banner of "Only $10,000 each!" over a trio of BMWs. Only to find out that the only cars in the sale are the three used Chevy Novas behind the wall, behind the BMWs.

    Well I guess the sale worked, since it saved me money. I decided not to buy anything.
