Transfering old custom character to G2 help

Hello! I decided to get back to learning DS recently, and I have a few questions regarding characters.
In the past i had bought custom characters, they mostly morphs of M4 with custom skins and hair, maybe some of them have custom cloth, and some of them use M4 Morphs++. Characters like Hiro 4, or Buddy 2.0 from Mec4D.
I learned there is a new G2 figure and M6 (which i got), because people say it's easier to pose and it's poses are more natural looking. Also i like new clothes. Everything looks so HD.
I haven't started to create my custom characters yet, because i'm thinking if I should convert those old characters like M4 and Hiro4 to Genesis 2 first. Will I benefit from this?
Also if I decide to convert them, i suppose they will transfer flawlessly? Can someone outline the process of converting everything? Morphs, hair, textures? Like take one of the characters and describe everything i need to do to get the same old character, just for G2. Also, will I be able to use those M4 Morphs ++? or "Shape Shift for Genesis 2 Male(s) / M6" is the same thing for a new generation?
I learned i will need following add ons:
1) GenX2 + Add-on
2) M4 Skins Batch Converter to Genesis 2 Male(s)
3) M4 for Genesis 2 (got him already).
4) Handy Dandy (optional)
Did i miss something?
First i need to convert morphs, and then textures. Old clothing and hair should use auto-fit.
Thanks for attention.

When you buy GenX2 and its Gen2F/Gen2M Addon, you will get two tutorials that will explain everything. Most morphs will transfer flawlessly. Batch Converter is not needed for getting M4 skins on Gen2M, instead, you need M4 for Gen2M from Slosh, which will give you M4 UVs. Then load the skin on Genesis, save it as a material preset (it will make a DUF), then load the DUF onto Gen2M. Morphs++ can be transferred too, everything is detailed in the tutorials when you buy GenX2.
