Does anyone know of any "lo rez " medieval peasant models? I need to create a scene with townsfolk populating a medieval village.

Thanks in advance!

If you have lorenzo low res then grab the following, as it includes some medieval clothing to put on him.

I know that the link says it is a ship, but the medieval clothes are included in the same link.

    I hope it helps

Probably the LoRez pair - Loretta and Lorenzo would work. You could possibly use Generation 3 models (nicer on resources). Or MakeHuman.

Also remember to convert the figure to a prop once you are happy with the clothing set up and pose, as this drastically reduces the memory needed by the figure, even a low res one like lorenzo. There is a script referenced somewhere in the forums to do this. You can not change the pose once they are props, but you can still move, rotate and scale.

Another good idea is to use instancing to have the same figure 2-3 times, this needs much less memory than the same number of different figures. As long as the duplicated figure(s) are in the background, and positioned at different angles, it should not be easily noticeable.
