A couple of questions about minotaur battle gear

When you buy the Minotaur 6HD pro bundle you get the minotaur battle gear In DAZ studio when I use the search function its not found ( A search for minotaur will find the minotaur and all the poses but not minotaur battle gear) search for battle nothing found or even gear notheing found .When used in poser any of the above searches will finfd the battle gear just not DAZ .In fact I had to load the items in poser to even find where to look for them in DAZ studio!
So having finally found the battle gear in DAZ studio we find some parts come up with an error message saying " youve chosen to fit an unsurpported item on to the figure would you like to try to convert the item to fit the figure?" the items are footcufs and shinplates the other battle gear fits ok .Auto fit will not work they still dont fit,Interestingly enough they DO fit perfectly ok in poser!
Ive always thought DAZ studio stuff and in particular genesis was first and foremost made for DAZ studio and poser as a bit of an after thought yet in this instance appears to be the other way round any ideas?

    Is the Content management Service running - do other items show correctly in Smart Content?

    smart content NEVER works as soon as i type a single letter i just get a cross

    But do items appear in the Smart Content pane? if they do it is working. make sure it is on the Files tab and not the Products tab if you are seeing some but too few items.

    Not sure exactly whats you mean this 2 screen shots show what happens switching between products and files under the same tab. and then the last one what I get when I use content to search , that finds a lot more , in fact everything under sensibility that I was searching for (for this example)This is why I think smart content never works as probablly 90% of the time typing something in smart content finds nothing , maybe its just me but smart is most certainly NOT what I call it !Mostly the dificulty in finding things is what stops me using DAZ studio although most of my renders I use vue any way I use poser for things like people and animals, however some stuff I have is DAZ studio only and a very small number of things wont work in vue from poser eg Genesis minotaur works well in poser but not imported in to vue from poser , but it will work in vue when imported from DAZ studio.There are plenty of DAZ studio only Items I would like to buy but I am put off by the dificulty in finding them afterwards. Using the minotaur just as an example in poser search for minotaur all catergories seconds later there they all are , load up figure now search battle gear up it all pops in seconds and fits the figure straight off.Now in DAZ studio search minotaur no problem up it pops load figure no problem search for battle gear nothing rumage up and down file tree where is it? dont know where it got put (by the download manager from my product page here at DAZ, ok downl;oad the zip version to have a look where they might have gone , right found where they should be up and down the file tree untill found then find some bits dont fit! why? they all worked in poser perfectly alright. maybe its just me but I really do find DAZ studio perplexing

    OK, so Smart Content is working in the sense that it is running. If you double-click the items in product view you should see their components. The items that show up in the file list aren't the same products -those are the Victoria 4 items (note that they are cr2 and pz2 files). Of course if you know an item's product name the alphabetical list under products in the Content Library pane may be the quickest route. It may be that this item's metadata needs updating - I'll flag this thread for Jen.

    As Jen has just pointed out to me, you have a particular sub-category of Wardrobe selected on the left so you are seeing only items that apply to that (the dress may cover the torso, but it isn't specifically a torso item).

    if you go to the readmes you can usually find out what categories items are in

    * "Accessories:Torso"

    for the 3 sensibility products for instance.
    Poses you won't see until you have Genesis 2 Female in the scene and selected but the clothing you should see.
