What did I do!? My view-port is magically disconnected itself from the Actors, Wardrobe & Props window
but its fine on the Pose & Animate window...
I can no longer drag n drop tabs in the pane and re-order them!

I don't remember clicking a thing to cause this in Daz Studio 4.7 Dx

No oonger drag at all, or they no longer dock when dragged? If the latter, open the option menu for the undockable pane (the lined button in the top corner) and make sure Make Pane Undockable isn't checked. Once the pane is dockable drag the tab into the group you want it in, presumably the centre group for the viewport.

Nothing will drag and the viewport just popped itself off the programs UI

See if Window>Workspace>Lock Docking/Undocking is checked, and if it is click to clear it. Is the Viewport listed in Windows>Panes(Tab)? If you can't get the viewport or dragging back though those, try reloading your layout (Window>Workspace>Select Layout).

What the!? It was checked like you said and I clicked it to clear it and now everything's fixed!!
Thanks again, got my viewport back where it's supposed to be!

Good, I'm glad it's fixed. I suspect you accidentally hit the keyboard short cut to turn it on - that's very easy to do, especially when switching between applications.
