How do I get some things to work on Poser that only work on DAZ..?

Is this possible?
I only really have one example for this unfortunately...
http://www.daz3d.com/royal-eastern-the-asian-dragon
As you can see it only says compatible with Daz, but I installed it anyway to see what would happen.
The morphs work, but I can't get the MATs to work or show up at all.
I can't seem to find where the actual files are located and what kind of format they are but
is there any way to load stuff like this?
Someone told me I could do it WITH Daz but then upon asking they never responded...
DAZ Lags on my computer and I just plain don't like it. I don't want to use it to actually do images.I just don't. I never will.
Btw, I mean DAZ Studio in case no one could tell...

The materials are in .duf format. According to the readme, the mats are under Animals:DAZ Dragon 3:Characters:RawArt:Raw_RoyalEastern:MAT's
"Animals" should be located next to the Runtime directory on your drive.
AFAIK you would need to create poser companion files for the files to show up in your Poser library. You can do that in DS, but I'm affraid I don't know how exactly (I don't use the DSON importer)
You can also use this free script to load them directly: http://d3d.sesseler.de/index.php?software=poserpython&product=dson_loader

But even if you manage to load them there's a good chance the materials won't translate properly to Poser, just like Poser materials don't translate properly to DS.
