Please post "hours of service" for 4-hour Flash Sales

So, as my workday was winding up, I jumped over to DAZ to see what sales were going on. I saw a "Flash Sale, 60% Off! Four hours only!" Ironman13's stuff. As she's one of my favorite artists, I began to go through and see what of hers I could grab.
...and the prices reverted as I was opening windows....
If you're going to have a four hour only block on sales, could you have some kind of notice as to when they start and stop on the Shop/Sales page? It's kind of a bummer to discover "four hours" meant "three minutes" from my point of view. :)

I suffered the same thing, added a few Ironman13 items to my cart, went to run an errand, came back an hour later, original price again. Difference is, I just chalked it up to not reacting faster for next time. There will probably be another chance, it's not the end of the world for me.. I for one really enjoy the flash sales, I tend to get the bulk of my items thru them lately.
That would be very much helpful.

Perhaps a countdown would be useful!
Oh, hardly the end of the world for me either. It's not even going to stop me from buying other stuff today. :)
However, if I glance at the clock and see that a flash sale for a favored Vendor's ending in three minutes, I'll either race the clock or get a cup of tea and see what happens next, rather than have my prices change midway through selecting. That's all.
Exactly the same happened here! Went to the store, specifically to get some poses for a project I was in the middle of doing, noticed the advert on the front page and found several sets which were just perfect.
The sale ended, just as I'd culled them down to my final three choices. :)
Ironman13 seems to be back on sale!
Aaaaaaaaand purchased!
I guess it is just a part of the deal. This way people may buy in their rush maybe even more than they actually wanted in the first place and it keeps them buying at random times. If there is a time limit people just buy the things in the last 5 minutes which will possibly create a peek load for the server (just a guess).
By the way, I purchased one item from ironman which was in my wishlist.
If you're using Windows this one will run in the background and notify you within X minutes whenever new ads are added. It can't tell you when a Flash sale has started though unless you're sitting at your computer when it starts.

I highly recommend this.
Why yes, yes it would be helpful. It's been suggested many times over the years for various time based contests. But alas, seems to never happen. Is it because...
1) they don't know how to do it technically?
2) it's too much trouble, so they don't want to do it?
3) they simply don't understand the suggestion?
4) other reasons?
