DIM wit? Problems with Install Manager [SOLVED]

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere. I did a quick search but turned up nothing.

I fired up DIM today to download and install my latest purchases, only to have it tell me that I have zero files installed, and hundreds ready to download (basically, everything I've ever bought from DAZ). So, what happened? I opened Studio, and all the files are showing up. I checked to see if CMS is running. It is. I even rebooted my computer. Still zero files installed, 817 ready to download.

Thanks for any solution you are able to offer.

The information on what DIM has installed is in C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ManifestFiles -- are you seeing .dsx files there for each zip?

Oooops! Looks like that folder got deleted. Fortunately I was able to restore it from the recycle bin, and now is all as it should be.

Leading to another question: is it possible to move that folder out of Public Folders where it's less likely to be tampered with?

Yes, if you go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts there will be an .ini file for your account, Close DIM and edit the .ini file line that reads:
    OverrideManifestDir=
to add the new path, and move the contents of the old ManifestFiles folder there, then when you start DIM it will look in the new path.

Ok, that worked, finally. I originally copied the path direct from windows explorer, and it copied in with back slashes. DIM didn't like that, kept overwriting it with gibberish. When I noticed that other paths in the .ini file had forward slashes, I changed them and all is well.
