Have to agree. I was looking thru the hair section here a little while ago and i am amazed at the lack of quality, versatile, realistic looking hair products in the DAZ store. I wish there were some great dynamic hair products since most long hair products lack sufficient morphs in most cases. I have LAMH, but it is nearly impossible for me to get any good results with it.

I rarely buy hairs anymore. They're just not made like a few years ago. If I load an older hair it has "body", not just a few strands that I can see through.
Though SAV hairs are good and have density.

It is indeed hard to find quality hair here. I asked about it in a thread ( http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/45758/ ). Maybe it helps you in your search.

I created this hairstyle in a little less than 5 minutes or so, the animation is at low settings so didn't take much longer to render:

Now that I'm finally getting a handle on how easy and quick it is to make my own dynamic hairs, and how much more quickly they render than standard prop and figure hair with all those transparencies, I'm kind of stunned by the huge jump in realism that you get when you go to strand based dynamic hair instead. I'm having a blast making and animating various hairstyles, and am going to put together a number of free to use hairs like this to the community for use in the near future, hopefully a library of dynamic hair that can be used with any figure you want. :)
