So we get new products only every other day now?

It certainly seems that way lately. Please tell me I'm imagining it.

I'm not sad about it if they release less often, honestly. New items ever day = overload & shopping fatigue (not to mention that black hole thing in my wallet).
At least, that's how it is for me. :red:

That used to be more typical though, didn't it? Maybe they're saving up for March Madness...

I'm not sure. Probably. I guess it's because they put the stuff out once-a-day on a regular schedule that if nothing goes up you know you have to wait a day. Much earlier if there was nothing you could come back in a couple hours and find something...or not.

It appears that there is a more focused release pattern, where things that are somewhat related are put together to make a more interesting release day. That way they can have a more focused marketing program instead of simple random daily releases.

Plus, the can only work with what products they have for release, with MM coming up, it is safe to say alot of PA's are submitting products to be released then, which may cause a bit of a slowdown now (though I keep a fairly tight schedule of releases, so you can still count on me to have releases in the duration)

Yeah, Raw. And having stuff ready for co-release with a new figure, say, is really a benefit for the customers. I've run into situations elsewhere where necessary addons are promised and they may take a year to fully roll out. What's the point of getting the product if you can't use it to its fullest potential for so long.

It's amazing how quickly we become addicted and suffer withdrawal when denied.

Imagine the panic if they released only once a month! Or if stocks were limited. 8-O

Or if (heaven forbid) there wasn't anything new under the sun. 8-s

...if there wasn't anything, we'd be all trying to learn Blender or Hexagon, which wouldn't be so bad if you think more about it...

Well, honestly Keiko and manga characters aren't really of interest so days of anime figure focus are kinda boring to me.

Well, no one else would do it, Spit, even though you asked so nicely, so:

    You're imagining it.

I, for one, welcome a lull in new releases. It gives me time to set up traps for my errant wallet. There'll be no escape for it this time...

ZBrush too, but Blender is free and Hexagon is quite cheap, quite unlike ZBrush, so I guess we could start with those.

    Good news! Five new items!
Bad news! I"m not interested in any of them. They look good and others will, though.

Ditto, except I am sort of glad as a) I can pretty much 'do' them with existing content from my GBs of stuff and b) I don't have to pay for them if I don't buy them ;)

    That's true.

But I wavered. I got the Allure Chemise. I do love it's simplicity and I really haven't gotten anything like it (if memory serves, which it often doesn't). Besides you can lengthen it a bit.

To me it seems just as if the same V6 corsette or dress is released over and over again with very little altered.

Give me an Alpine theme or a Middle Eastern theme or a Hip Hop theme any day with clothes for both genders and props to go with that.

    ....

Shhh..., you'll let the cat out of the bag. It's a secret, we're not supposed to notice. It's what the entire fashion industry is based on and why it cycles. There actually is nothing new under the sun! 8-o If it wasn't for technology improvements DAZ would have been out of business 10 years ago.
