Where are the lo-res kids?

I was going through all my lo-res stuff from Predatron, and realized we need some lo-res kids. These figures are so useful it's a shame they can only populate a world without children--in the background, anyway.

Kids, yes! There's a real gap there.

Also, a sheep. Because it's for the distance, just make it fat and and a bit lumpy and that should fool the eye enough.

Agree?

Now, how can we inform the PTB?

In fact, there are too few normal resolution kids on the market, not to mention those low ones... Some PAs were brave enough to work on Belle and Brodie, who are more in the kids department than anything this generation - and thanks be to them for taking the risk, I hope they are getting good income off them. But we have yet to wait for a real seven-years-old and generally kids below ten.

I think these are two separate issues, Cecilia. Have you ever used any of Predatron's lo-res figures (human and animal) off in the background to add a bit of life, interest, in a scene? Asking for lo-res kids doesn't take away from other desires. I doubt the same people would be interested in doing both types anyway.

Lorenzo and Loretta from Predatron do actually have a youth morph that changes the figure down to a young teenager. Not too good for close up shots, but good enough for distance ones.

EDIT: If you look at the image I did for the PC Contest, the figure climbing the steps to the helter skelter is a lorenzo child morph. Several of the adult background figures are also Lorenzo.

Both Lorenzo and Loretta has morphs so you can dial in kids.
The cloths I have made for them does also morph into kid size...

This was just a quick test.....

I'm saying that children don't sell as well as adults, so getting any kids at all would be welcome. Obviously, low resolution kids would be particularly useful for kindergarten scenes, but judging from the lack of support for high resolution children, getting low resolution ones is at doubt.

Have you tried M. O. M. Generator? I think it may have a solution for your problems.

I didn't realize that. Never even looked for morphs on any of them. Can you believe? Thank you! That will certainly help. Would also like to see some even smaller though.

Your pic looks good, unfortunately I can't see it very well through the grey 'cover' and swirly thing. Galleries don't work for me.

Yeah, I have it. It's useful for some situations but I'm not high on billboards. Thanks for the suggestion.

You should be able to right click and then download any image, and then look at it in the viewer of your choice.

I was looking at "Bring in the clones" recently, as it was in the 5$ grab bag section, which I think is similar to M. O. M. Generator, but both of these are quite dated now, written for DAZ 3, I think. Bring in the clones seem to give you things that can now be achieved with instancing, so seemed less useful to me.

EDIT: Just looked at MOM, and it is nothing like Bring in the clones at all, so my comment above does not apply to it. I agree with you Spit, I do not much like bill board type stuff. You might as well just paste in some 2D figures in post work.
