Yep. That is how was made previously to the last freebie. 2 packages, one with the freebie and one with the metadata. The last freebie has just one single DIM installer with the freebie and metadata in the same package.
I hope this clarify!
thanks for the downloads and a very happy birthday.
21 again eh..........
Thank you, .. more stuff will come for sure ! and welcome to our community !
Nice to see you back !
Nice Work Tim , thanks mate !

Thanks so much for these freebies Cath, your creations are always oustanding! WOW... 17 years creating content...
Thank you so much ! time past so fast ! it is been 16 years since release of Victoria 1 ! Victoria's sweet 16 was in February
Hi guys found a great free Triumph Bonneville Cafe Racer Free 3D Model low and high resolution , just rendered with Iray and re-textured with my PBS shaders , material zones and names are there so easy to re-texture
load the model with lightwave or Cinema 4d profile and scale down to 15% to match Genesis, super cool .. not my freebie but worth downloading *.OBJ Low.High and also *.blend version
DOWNLOAD
That's one sweet bike...
Super realistic modeling to the last details .. love it
Happy Birthday and Thank You Very Much!
You're following the Lord of the Rings hobbit tradition of giving out presents on one's birthday :) :)
Used to have one of those Triumphs also had a BSA 650 Thunderbolt
Thanks for the download
Mec4d, you said that you've been creating for 17 years....i'd LOVE to know what your very first foray into this was :) It'd be so cool to see where you started, and compare that with your latest creation :) That'd be fun!
Hey all... Valandar's Headphones set has a pair that's VERY old school walkman like (just change the color of the sponges, and you're there :)..well mine were orange).
And it's on super sale right now.

With that, should be be simple to make a walkman, either from the free objects around, or just making a primative and wrapping some png's around it.

And Cath...if you're looking for other inspirations for your 80's series....:D
(If i can find a close base outfit, I may try texturing such)
I added a long skirt and turned the 80's outfit into a wedding dress.
Lighting and background are from No Emotion HDRs. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0.
That's amazing looking! Clearly I need to learn better how to use these HDR things that are all the rage.
I've been playing with a design in the last couple of days, presuming I can figure out how to map it without killing it or myself ;)
Unbelievable! Your renders look absolutely stunning, I always think they're photographs. My Iray renders always look grainy and dull. Amazing work!
What sorcery is this?
Or, better yet, which skirt?
I`ve just started playing with them myself. I don`t have an Nvidia video card so my Iray use is limited to cpu. The tests I have done show that hdrs that are also used as BGs save a bunch of render time. Dimension Theory has a nice new set out that I have wishlisted but I have also had some decent results from using the HDR .tifs from his HDR ProSets Yosemite Packs. They are $1.99 for PC members at the moment and well worth it. I`ve also used the Dumor3D freebie from DS Creative mag with good results. That has nice HDR lighting with either a light or dark BG. Very good for portraits. There is a list of free HDRs here that is very useful too.
Thank you. Now to find a few bucks...
Thank you very much ! Enjoy the freebies
I need to make some stuff for the males now for the balance , but I may doing something later , thanks for the inspiration pics
Very nice and creative ! I was about to make wedding set for both of them
Thanks , always use good HDRI and tone mapping settings regaring your maps, wrong setting can create a lot of noises
I don't think the Queen will be having such a good birthday (90th) celebration next year as the one Cath had/is having this year. Not that I'm saying Cath is 90
Here is my take on the Underwater Hair. I thought of this as soon as I had the first look at the hair and I managed to get it done
Iray render. The bar and posts are simple primitives. The bar uses the Daz Uber Iray shader preset Metal-Aluminum-Brushed and the posts use the Walnut Semi-Gloss shader from the Nvidia MDL Examples with adjustments to the gloss and bump settings.
The character is mjc's Anna morph for G3F (ShareCG) with a few adjustments to make her face a bit younger. Her skin is the V7 Iray mats.
The outfit is from OOT's Genesis 2 Female's MEGA Wardrobe.
The lighting/background uses a free HDR image from http://noemotionhdrs.net/
And of course the hair is MEC4D's freebie Underwater Hair!
Thank you so much for an amazing bunch of freebies Cath!
In the begining 1997-98 I was doing 3D illustrations for magazines ( Created the first Logo for Renderosity ), concept 3D creations with Maya and mostly texturing for Zygote models , then year later Victoria 1 textures and the first commercial textures on the market for Michael 1 , in the very begining of our communities we rather shared our creations with eachother .
I don't think so ! lol but I have a very old soul !
Nice usage ! simple things can be so userfull .. adding dynamic to a render, thanks for sharing
Heh..you started around the time I first tried to learn to do 3D art...which didn't pan out...all the way til about 8 months ago.
Ahhh the good ole days
Not 80´s - but I just had to do this scene and render ;)
EDIT: now the render is here - there was a little problem while uploading :(
