Took some doing, but I got something fun for you!

I'll get it rendered properly in a minute.

Rumiko got a new dress, in the hopes that her boyfiriend will be too distracted to notice the substitute stylist's foulup...

    What could go wrong?

The glasses and character are mine, she's standing in the Luxury Bedroom, and the dress and hair were both provided by Cath the Generous and Lovely.

    first, Thank you

I don't have any Genesis 2 males, but I do have a Genesis 1 male laugh and still using 4.6

here was a quickie, I noticed not right at the start, but the mats are just for Iray ..  not a issue for me, I didn't play with anything but the defuse color, and I think it came out pretty good, and thank you

I modified a WIP to create this quick image using Cath's Mullet Hair on G2F. The HDRI is from Dimention Theory's DAZ Studio Iray HDR Outdoor Environments.

I hope you like it, Cath. Just as I hope you will take some time for yourself, now.

P.S. Thank you, again, for yet another incredible freebie. Again. Hugs.

    Here's the Iray version!

I'm still not great at lighting indoor scenes. Maybe I should start experimenting with emissives...

...DL'd and installed them.  Unfortunately the textures are very poor quality .pngs  that don't line up properly with the mesh.  I tried tweaking them as best I could by adjusting the tiling size and orientation but they just still looked bad.  Also, after applying the Iray base shader, the alignment of all the textures was messed up again.  I would have to do a lot of "surgery, on my own to actually model all the buttons, dials, and cassette door since they were just part of the .png as well create the fm/am dial to make it a separate mesh/mat zone so I can get it to light up (as this is a night scene) then UV map and retexture it myself - all far beyond of my realm of expertise.

So back to square one again.

Fun... My only question is how badly I need the practice.

...I guess I could build one out of primitives, but it wold look pretty basic and I have no idea how to create the textures for it.

If I had the money to spare I'd just get one of the textured .objs from Turbosquid for 25$ or so. Surprised there isn't one here in the store.(only a small more recent portable CD player). Nothing at Rendo either.

That's exactly what I have been doing, but I had a little help from DzFire's excellent 'Real lights' for Iray. This set made me understand the workings a lot better and I can now safely say that I can create my own emissives without any trouble now.

Thank you so much for a wonderful mullet! I'm working on 3DL mats and should have them up in the next day or two. Here's a preview, modeled by my current favorite figure, Glidman's Ayana Doll.

I also made some supplemental morphs. The second picture shows BackLonger.

The Iray shader render nice under Uber Enviorment , if not use Uber Surface shader for the translucent effect , you can copy the glossy values from the Iray shader , also the cap have trans map and so the hair , additional morphs included under Shape Tab of the hair
