A dude showing off his bling. Started as Cory then played with different skins. I used the mullet hair and also some of the Mec4d metal Iray shaders on parts of the rings, earrings, gold tooth, and the pendant.

Well, that's changed rather a lot in the last seven years.

Well, that's changed rather a lot in the last seven years.

Oh yeah...it's come a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG way.  And there's much more coming...like not too much longer for full 32 bit tif (other formats, too) images and a bunch of other fun stuff.

  • DarkSpartanDarkSpartan Posts: 1,096

If that's the case, I might start regretting buying Photoshop ;)

...yeah, it is a lot more powerful than it may look. I purchased PSP X4 several years ago and the only thing I pretty much use taht programme for anymore is to work on HDRIs (as it has an HDRI lab) and adding text to files as it does have a decent text tool.

There are a few Photoshop specific things that it can't do...yet.  But it can do a lot more than it used to...

Right now most brushes work with no problems, PSDs import easily and the plugins/addons list is miles long.

I picked up a student version cheap for a class a couple of years ago, and then got a full license when they released CS6. Not something I even remotely regret. I know it works, and it'll work every time.

On the plus side, I paid ~$175 at the end for a commercial license (the student version of CS5E and an upgrade to the full version of 6), as opposed to the four or five hundred dollars they wanted for CS5, and then another hundred or so for the upgrade to CS6 later.

Thank you for all the great freebies, and I'm sorry to hear about your back pain.

Here's something that my doc ordered as treatment: lay down flat on your back, and put a/several pillows (around 30 centimeters/1foot) total height under your calfs. It should be comfortably in a 60 degree angle. You can do this for about 30 minutes to an hour, as often as neccessary per day.

(Of course, you also need to do excercising for the back, but the above method hlps to get the cramps out of the back.)

Thank you for the wonderful hair. Now if Steve can just remember what he did with his pipe cleaners and chewing gum heart

Are pipe cleaners an 80's thing?  (I've been meaning to get some actually, but if their time is past, that could be an issue).

Are pipe cleaners just for fun crafts or can they actually clean a pipe?  If so what kind of pipe?  The pipes under the sink?
