Thanks. It did autofit perfectly. There was no poke through or obvious distortion. I didn't have to fiddle with anything. The light is just the built in sun sky with default tone mapping.

    Champagne Nymph by L'Adair

Something a little different, and an excuse to use the Underwater Hair. I made the hair emmissive, so it would show up through the liquid and the bottle, both with refraction—Luminance: 10; Luminance Units: W; Luminous Efficacy (lm/W): 1.5. The computer sure didn't like something, either all the emmissives I used, or all the refraction, (the house I used has lots and lots of windows.) After 5 hours, (cpu only,) it still hadn't reached 1% convergence. I kept thinking about Cath's dual Titan X system and wishing I had one, too. I did  a lot of post-work to camouflage the excessive grain and I entered it in the weekly pc+ contest anyway. lol

I hope you like it, Cath.

I think the postwork/grain works really well.. gives it a unique feel!

If I may ask, from where did the bottle come from?  I'm looking thru all my champagne bottles and not finding any that are really satisfactory :(

That one's from Mac's Everday Drinks set, IIRC.

Hmm.. Iray only...I've never really cracked the secret of glasses, bottles, and liquid with 3delight..

Don't feel bad-- I haven't had a lot of luck with it either. Best I could do was something that looked like it might have been glass at some point in the distant past ;) Clear plastic is quite a bit easier.

Thank you. I had fun playing with filters and such. Used some things I never had a need for with my photography.

DarkSpartan is correct. The champagne bottle is from Maclean's Everyday Drinks. So are the two glasses.

Have you tried Wonderous Wares (AoA/DimensionTheory)? I bought that about the time the beta came out. I don't see a champagne bottle per se, but lots of vase and glass options, and a few bottles. I haven't used it with 3Delight, but the promos look like glass.

I think it was SickleYield who did accurate bottles (with the glass having thickness) which would make the Iray glass shaders work properly.
