Can't find my Genesis poses in Poser 11

This weekend I was playing around with the Comic Book Preview feature in Poser 11. It's very interesting and I hope Daz Studio gets something like it soon. The Geometric edges feature is very nice, and was a time saver on the illustration I was working on.

But I digress. I successfully mapped my Daz Content library to Poser 11, and could see my figure content there as I expected. But when I clicked on the icon to view poses, I couldn't see anything.

So, am I doing somthing wrong (which is likely), or is this a DSON issue, or are poses found somewhere under figures? Or something else?

All DAZ Studio native formats will have a .duf extension so it is doubtful the Poser library shortcuts will indentify them.

If there are no PCFs -- Poser Companion Files -- then Poser won't see them. There's a free DSON loader script around that might help you, but if you've got Studio installed you should be able to make your own PCFs. Once that's done, the poses should show up.

  • Thank you both. I figured it was some sort of DSON issue (and thanks for narrowing it down to Poser Companion Files). Although I have used Poser and Daz Studio for years, I have never tried using Daz Studio content in Poser before. I have a project coming up that will benefit from using the Comic Book preview mode, so I was hoping to use my Genesis content. If I can't find a way to bulk move lots of those poses over, I'll just have to limit myself to Michael 4 and content that already has PCFs, or that was purchased through other vendors (and I do have lots of it to choose from).

If anyone can suggest a way to bulk migrate poses (and possibly morphs) from Daz to Poser, I would really appreciate it.
