Content Library no longer works [Mystery Solved]

XaatXuunXaatXuun Posts: 873

it's like it doesn't exist any more, only page I can see is the last one I used, I cannot go back to the list of categories to select items from

I friggen HATE working from Smart content folder, but forced to keep it's tab open for DAZ Connect (It does make it easier from there to see what needs to be downloaded)

I was working from the content library,  and just to continue loading content on to the new machine I use daz connect from the Smart Content tab,  then I go back to the Content Library . . . and I can not get back to selecting other categories, it seems to be stuck at Props>>Architecture

I cannot go forwards or back, if I click the forward or back arrows, things just show up Blank, and seems only 2 clicks  forward or back is as far as I can go.

There is no scroll bar, so it's not like there was a big empty space, it's just nothing is there.

This happened just as I connected to use DAZ Connect, don't know it that had anything to do with it, but thought I should mentioned  what steps/Processes I was doing at the time

okay seems restarting didn't fix it, as I was hoping, still only showing Props>>Architecture

while I have you here, in the past I have  been able to add the Node Selection tool on the bar with the others, but for some reason I cannot on 4.9,  Is there  a way to get it on the Bar

I seem to only able to use search  to find things in the Content library.

I typed Figures in search, and same thing, only have the one page, I cannot seem to  go back to the list of Content

Click here, you've got the center section collapsed:

    DOH !!!

    thank you

what about the Node Selection tool, to have it on the bar ?

, having to use alt+shift+V everytime is a pain, my fingers can't play twister like that every time I jump between Spot Render and Node Selection

or should I just start a new topic for that

  • All tools are in the Tools menu, but you can add any one of them by going to Window>Workspae>Customise, opening the Toolbars tab on the right and finding the toolbar you want, then finding he command on the left (in this case under Viewport Tools I think), and dragging it into the toolbar.

that's what I had done before , but it's not letting me now in 4.9 . .  I'll keep looking into that, maybe I'm doing something different/wrong
