Studio crashing when it tries to connect to my account

I just got Windows 10 in a brand spankin' new computer.  I installed Studio 4.9 (64 bit version) using the DIM, but when I try to connect it to my account, it crashes without fail.

Since one of the reasons I got this thing was that I wanted as much of a graphical beast as I could afford specifically for Studio, this is disheartening.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

This may be covered in this forum on page one, but I'm afraid the news is all bad. To use Daz with windows 8.1(like me) or Windows 10 you must disconnect from the internet.Daz customer service has done nothing for over twoweeks about this.

 

Many of us have been getting an error "LIBEY", see thread for details and note what error message you get during the crash.
