Categorising with Product Directory Structures

With 'Scan Known Directories for Files' after you had added the new files to 'My Library' you used to get the new files and the directory structures.

With connect you get all the files associated with a product in one group. I was then creating a category out of the new product and creating new IRAY and 3delight subdirectories myself out of the files.

Now we have the product 'Jepe's Body Jewels 2 for Daz Studio'. 372 files and we have to sort out V4, M4, G2F, G2M, Iray and 3delight options. This is doable but will take me at least 30 mins.

Question. Is there a way of Categoring Connect installed products and preserving directory structures? If not can Vendors differentiate the icons better so you know what category it falls into. Hovering the mouse and reading the 13 directory level file structure is hard work!

If you are isntalling through Connect go to Smart Content, the products tab, find the set, and double-click - that should give you the fiolder structure.

4.9.2.x (Public Build) provides virtual folders in the Content Library pane for products installed via Daz Connect. You can right click a (virtual) folder and create categories from it.

Thanks. Rather than sort 372 files I loaded to my Library and picked them up from there. In the long run want everything via one route so will try the above. 4.9,2 sounds better.
