Latest patch broke my Daz Studio.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

White buttons on white backgrounds, I can't even work with it now. Can someone help? Here is what it looks like:

    This happens if you have Sudio running when you install the new version. Shut it down, uninstall, and re-install.

    FYI, I've only been working in Daz for about 3 months.  And I have the same issue.  Any specific instructions on fixing this would be appreciated.

    Close Daz Studio

    Make sure Daz Studio really is closed by checking task manager or the Mac equivalent

    Uninstall Daz Studio (via the Install Manager or the stand-alone unisntall, depending on how you installed initially)

    Install Daz Studio.

    So I reinstalled everything, The Installer shows everything that I've purchased and has the check mark below the hard drive icon and says it's installed. However, when I open Daz Studio, the are zero items under the Smart Content tab and it shows a resource error:

    "A valid PotgreSQL CMS connection could not be established. Several DAZ Studio features that require... etc."

    I didn't have this problem the first time I installed this.

    Does PostgreSQL CMS show as installed?  What security software are you using?
