Possibly a silly question - Downgrading from 4.8 to 4.7

As I said, its probably a silly question , but, seeing as I have my original Studio 4.7 installers, is this a doable thing? Or is it a case of uninstall/reinstall.. If a re-install is needed, can the "new" 4.7 install read and organize my Content Library which shoudl remain intact, or worst case restored from a backup?

    Uninstalling will not touch content or settings (though of course not everything will apply to 4.7, such as Iray settings).

      One last bit, I'm assuming that scenes created in 4.8 won't be readable in 4.7? And thst the current postgre cms would not work with 4.7?

    The scene files should open fine, but again some features won't work (especially Iray).

    Not having Iray is not an issue - its pretty much useless on my AMD only system... Glacial does not begin to describe it..
