Great work! Buildings are beautiful and walls look very detailed. Maybe the floor/ground looks a bit flat. Are the screenshots final or near finished w.i.p.? Anyway, I like it a lot; I'll sure be getting it.

I really like the detail and the complexity of the architecture in this set.  I will eagerly await its release.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

I think I hate you, Faveral... Coming out with yet another set I really, really want, but can't afford. crying

(Okay, not really hate, but you know what I mean. Gorgeous set. I'm sure it will be worth what you ask for it. I'll just have to put it in my wishlist when it comes out.)

You just made my bank card scream in despair and hide under the sofa. Again.

Looks great. Any chance of a bird's eye overview, untextured maybe, to see the complete extent of the set?

My credit card ran off as soon as I read the title of this thread! Looking forward to Perouges, I love your environment sets.

Not great quality shots but it gives you an idea of the layout

Exactly what I meant — excellent. This goes on to my "must buy" list.

Something I just thought of, will there be street lights for evening/night scenes?

I put torch holders everywhere. Dzfire has done such a great job with his fire ptops, I don't think i could do better. You could just stick his fire props in the torch holders it would look fantastic

I'm working on a rainy and a snowy version of this set, so it will still be a little while. Maybe the PA sale.

Beautiful Faveral- and I like the layout. SO many camera angles and nooks and crannies to shoot!

Will it be possible to use single houses?

  • FaveralFaveral Posts: 415

There are 5 "blocks" of houses which can be used independentlly. Some houses share the same roof for example, or there is a bridge between houses, so it wouldn't be convenient to separate them.

I was there in 98 so I don't remember it so well, but according to my daughter who was there last year, this is almost spot on!

    Well done!

Thank you Totte. It's not as it really is, more as the overall all feeling s , I guess

Will you offering obj files with smoothing groups for the set? I bought this set for use in Poser. It imports but since DS does not support smoothing groups the quality of the exported mesh has not the quality i am used to from a Faveral product. I managed to get some useable quality by adjusting the crease angles but its still not perfect.
