Can Studio 4.5 be installed with existing 4.9?

I'm running the latest version of Daz3d Studio. I want to open a file that was made with 4.5 and it just won't do it.It is save as file type "Daz Studio Scene." I wanted to try opening it with 4.5. I have a copy of 4.5, and when I try to install it I get a warning that there is a later version installed. Is it possible to have both installed?

Before installing, how is the file failing to load -do you get an error? Which version of DS was it saved from, that should show in the Info tab or tool tip in the Content Library pane?
It's a saved scene, not a file.
Ok ...I installed a 32 bit version of 4.5, loaded the scene, saved as .duf, opened in 4.9. Whew!
