pink girl weapons

i would love some pink guns and chainsaws. swords, daggers.for some girly splatter scenes

and maybe a cute pink robot

That's the M4A1 Carbine from the Infantry Combat Equipment set here at DAZ: http://www.daz3d.com/infantry-combat-equipment

I used Surface Selection to select the weapon (it's all one surface), went to Surfaces: Editor and changed all of the colors to pink (255 161 202), then loaded the Diffuse Color map (DS3D_M4 Carbine) into Paint.net and increased the brightness from 0 to 90, renamed it to DS3D_M4 Carbine2, and saved it to the same folder. Back in Studio, I loaded the modified file into the Diffuse Color channel and I was finished. You can do this with anything to change colors. If the original diffuse map is too dark, brighten it.

Would other photo editing software like Gimp work for incressing tat brightness on diffuse color maps as well?

if a PA includes templates you can go to town in Gimp and make your own girly textures too and share them

I don't see why not. I use paint.net because it's free, has an unbelievable amount of plugins with which to customize it, and it does what I need it to do!

Gimp can read photoshop files, and has many of the same features as Photoshop.
