Changing content drives

I have a very lage runtime. I ran it from my external hard drive ("F"). This drive bit the bullet today.

I do have everything backed up online and want to download it to my local "D" drive. I know this will mess up my CMS. It would take me litterally close to 100 hours to manually redo my custom catagories.

As just the Drive letter is different but the structure is the same... is there a way I can do this without having to manually recatorgize everything?

I tried in the past... with no luck.

Any guidence would be appreciated.

you can copy the whole "Content" in any new drive letter you want,

change the information in  "Content Directory Manager"
once you do that, "export user data" then "re-import metadata" - that fix the new path of metadata found in smart content
