Hello
I am having a problem. The Presets on the Surface Tab aren't loading onto the figure. I have tried both double-clicking the icon and dragging it onto the figure. I thougt that the problem may have been that the surfaces I was trying to load only showed up in a rendered image. So, I tried to render the figure. The surfaces still did not show up. What am I doing wrong?

Can you give some specifics? Is it Genesis 3 Female? A character? From a particular product?
Is the Figure in the scene selected and the Surface, too? Try selecting both.
Right, a materials preset - most characters, for example, or looks for clothing - needs only the object selected as it has its own list of surfaces it is to apply to but a shader preset - such as a generic fabric pattern or stone or metal effect - doesn't apply to specific surfaces and instead needs the surfaces, as well as the object itself, selected.
How do I select a surface in addition to an object?
The Surface selection tool will get both (use ctrl(Win)/cmd(Mac)-clicks to add or remove items to the selection). You can also use the list in the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane to select surfaces after selecting the objects as normal in Viewport or Scene pane - which you may sometimes have to do if you want a surface, such as the Iris or Cornea, that is covered by another.
Thanks guys. That helped.
