Can't Save a Movie Render

Not sure what's going on, but if I do an animation and try and render it to a movie file (.mov) on my Mac, I now get an error. I've done movies in the past wtihout issues, but it's been a while. I know it renders PNG files and then compiles the MOV file, but I need to save the MOV file. I know a lot of people feel it's better to do stills of each frame, but I'm doing a non-standard size video for a specific project and none of the video editors I have access to will do the width/height that I'm trying to accomplish.

Anyone know what's going on here? I'd hate to waste another long animation render.

Hitfilm 4 express is free and I'm pretty sure it let's you edit video projects of any dimension you choose! Definitely worth a look if you can't solve the .mov issue as you'd be able to use the stills (which incidently hitfilm imports image sequences as a video clip!)
