Some assets needed to load the file are missing?

edited October 2012 in Daz Studio Discussion

Hello,
After recently cleaning up some older morphs and experiments, I've been getting the "Missing Files: Some assets needed to load the file are missing" error box, and a list of the files I deleted anytime I load Genesis. Genesis is operating fine, the morphs I wanted to keep all work fine, but the constant error box is rather annoying.
Is there a way to make it it so the error stops popping up ? I have already deleted the Genesis Duf in Content/People/Genesis, and a Genesis DSF from content\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base, then uninstalled and reinstalled the Genesis Essentials package. After reinstall was complete, I loaded Genesis, and the error still appears.
Edit: Studio 4.5, current version.

By the sound of things during your "experiments" one or more of your existing morphs got modified, and a reference to the other files has been added to it, probably as ERC code, in which case it's either time to edit them, or delete them and start over.

I think same as Bejaymac said.

so you better open log file, from d|s top menu,
    not just check erroer message,

and find precisely the morph file name which indicated by erroer .

maybe the moprh file you delete from data was used another morphs which you keep in your data
as controller or sub components (I do not know)
so they call the file you have deleted.

In many case, delete and reinstall genesis.duf (dsf) has not much means to correct about morph problems of genesis.
