It was early Summer, I had graduated high school and a few days after I turned 18. It was now time for a conversation with my parents. It was a conversation I will never forget.
Mom, Dad You know I have never liked school. I got good grades and did the work I need to but I was never happy. I found school to be slow and boring.
I also told you I would not go on to college and as I am now 18 you can not force me. However, toward the end of my senior year I did find a college of interest.
I sent for more info submitted paper work and I have been accepted to BBU.
Dad beamed with pride and delight and mom wept tears of joy.
Before you get overly excited there are somethings you need to know. The school is on one of the Hawaiian islands. Mom said not a problem dear we can still
keep in touch by phone. This is also an all girls school. Dad gave me a big smile and stated he had absolutely no problem with that. There is one more thing.
I think you should read the school intro pamphlet as it will explain it better then I.
That was three days ago and we have not spoken. Its like the calm before the storm and I am loving every minute.

"Okay people, I'm the headkid of this 'ere school, and y'all know my prefects. We're getting a posse together to track down the truant gang - so any of you folks who want to join us in rounding them up, just step forward to be deputized"

Just spotted the "Cowpokes For Kids 4" on the Freebies page and a great idea sprang to mind...
