Identifying Updated Products
Good day everyone.
Now that my list of downloadable products is growing, I'm having a bit of a problem keeping up with item updates, sometimes it has been months since a certain product update came out before I read about it in the forum by mere chance.
Is there a way to identify which products has been updated since the last time I downloaded it? is there a list of the latest file versions available somewhere?
What I've been doing is reseting the downloads but I don't suppose that's the best way to check for updates, it's not really efficient.
Thank you,
Edit: WOW!! I just realized this is my first post since I joined in 2006! I'm such a lurker! :O . Hahaha. And this is not even my first account here, I think I joined back in 2004 or 2002. I guess every question I had was already answered in the forums every time I came :)

We have a professional Lurker....we need to do something about this quickly before Hioushi goes back into Lurk mode. :)
Yes we have two threads for updated products one for Genesis http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/3885/ and another for old content that has been updated with Metadata http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/2602/
Off topic but I had to poke my head in since I never saw this user name before.
Yes, a professional lurker. lol.
Thanks!, I knew there have to be a thread about updates somewhere.
The main rason why I might be such a lurker here is because, although I do use Daz Studio quite often, I'm mostly a Poser user, so I hang around renderosity most of the time (same username and avatar).
I'm really liking DazStudio 4.5, and now with the DSON plugin for Poser, I might be more active here from now on (I think :P).
LOL you didn't need to explain why you lurk, I was just teasing. :) We do have a Poser Section here now.
The Install Manager which DAZ 3D is developing is supposed to be able to automatically check for updates, and either just download them or download and install. No ETA has been announced, however.
That sounds handy! reminds me of the tool at skyrim.nexusmods.com, it's for downloading mods for a series of games, and it does exactly what manager for Daz items should do.
This might be of some use if you use Windows http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/1563/ here is the direct link to this cool tool http://taosoft.dk/software/dazhm/
