IRay and rendering, what am I missing

Maybe I just do not get it, but;
I have a NVIDIA 9600 4g with nvidia GPU enabled 4.9.3.56 DS.
If I set Draw mode to Interactive, the exposure is way off compared with Photoreal.
Now this is with distant lights.
I also use meshlighting with pane and uber shader, same thing lighting is WAY off.
I used DS 4.9.1 official, same thing.
I understand Interactive mode and photoreal are not the same, but I should at least get the right lighting expression right ?
This tool mode in de viewport does not help me either (exposure/white balance)
Help ...

Emissive lights do no work in Interactivr mode, so that is one reason. Distant lights, however, should be consistent within reason.
If you are just looking to get a fast preview, I have found this method useful. Keep it in photoreal mode, also keep the main viewport to smooth or shaded mode. Go to window > panes > aux viewport. Change the render mode to iray, it will take a few moments to start up, but any changes made will rerender quickly. Very useful when I am setting up lights.
"Blend Photoreal to Render settings" in "Draw Settings tab ->Drawing-> Draw mode" seem to fix this, it is a little bit slower though.
(How did I miss that, is this a Beta feature ...)

That's the thing, in interactive mode, it is a white silhouette, opposed to render mode that draws a nice picture
Anyway I have a solution ...
