How can I build my own room in DS 4.9? Newbie needs help!

I just need a floor with 4 walls and a ceiling with a few extrusions. The extrusions are supposed to become two windows and one door. I can't find the tools to extrude, downsize the extrusion and extrude inside to form the door. I also need to to the same with the two windows. Anybody can help me with this? This seems to be fairly simple for experienced users. The thing is that I'm not that experienced and I'm struggling with it. Thanks in advance.

DS is not really a modeller; try Hexagon or Carrara?
If you want to build a room within Daz Studio, this product might help.
If all you need is just simple geometry - you can use Primitives like cubes and planes to create the environment.
Go to "Create -> New primitive". You can now create cubes/planes and apply shaders to them and some basic textures.
However if you need to use more complex shapes - you need a modelling program, even if a basic one. Here I guess, Hexagon is the best choice. Super easy to learn and powerful - but without some QoL functions present in more expensive programs.
To be honest, you'd probably save yourself a lot of time and hassle by buying a ready-made room. Barbuilt has already posted the link to Room Creator, but that may be more than you need (and too expensive).
I have a lot of sets which are rooms filled with accessories. You can use the room on it's own, and maybe the accessories will come in useful for something else. Here are a few sets, all priced at $9.95.

For a few common things for a room, I would recommend http://tf3dm.com/.
Also, Hexagon would be my first tip. If you use hexagon, three quick hints: 1) Press Strg + s quiet often, 2) for exporting to DAZ use OBJ and get rid of non-triangular faces, 3) for texturing, dont forget to apply a UV-map in Hexagon, or else you wont have much fun in DAZ.
