Exporting instances from DAZ (edit: or baking)

Hi all,
I'd really like to make an obj file of the Sci-Fi Industrial Colony that takes into account all the instanced props (crates and so forth). I'm aware such an obj file (if possible) would be rather a large one, but I'd really like to use it in Poser.
Is there any way to convert instances of an object into actual objects within DAZ Studio, or fiddle with the export settings to take account of instances?

My guess is if you can't convert the instance directly, then you'ld have to find the original, duplicate that (not create new instance), then place the new duplicate where the instance was and delete the instance
After some very surface-level research, I have learned that the proper term for this is "baking."
Does DAZ allow instances to be baked? Or can it export instances to another program that does allow baking?

I'm having the same problem currently with the Rock Formations bundle. As of yet, I have not found a method of baking the instances into a single geometry.
It would probably take some kind soul to write a script that would make mesh copies matching the SRTs of the instances. Even with the very expensive 3D app I have most experience with, it took some very nice people to share their scripts and plugins to be able to turn instances and/or particles into meshes. It's surprising how many 3D software capabilities started out as user addons. One of my favourites was a Mental Ray plugin that could save a detailed baked mesh of a displaced object based on the displacement settings, complete with UVs.
For instanced stuff I had some success subpropping the root object in iClone 3Dx then in iClone using duplicating and attaching to the instances with transformations and rotations, Poser and Carrara it proved somewhat more tedious.

Initially i just wanted a script to replace instances of Guitar Stacks by real Guitar stacks
because the instances are not exported when you export a scene as fbx or obj etc ...
but this script can replace anythings with anything
