How do I get V4 to appear in the Autofit Dropdown menu

You know the part where it says "What Figure was the item originally designed for"

Yes V4 is installed in DS4.9

Help?

  • Which figure are you fitting to? The source shapes are nothing to do with having the Victoria 4 figure installed - they require having the appropriate clone shape for the figure that is going to wear the clothing, only Genesis 1 includes a Victoria 4 clone be default.

    Oh!

Thank you! I an utter DAZ Studio Novice and long time Poser user.

I was trying to see if I could transform any of my boatload of V4 stuff to Genesis 3.

    Is there a way?

You can purchase the Wear Them All product which will get autofit to work directly onto G3 from V4

There is also this product which you can use with the above to get better results

You could do it for free by auto fitting V4 to Genesis - autofitting the result from Genesis to G2 then doing that again from G2 to G3

Shoes with heels rarely turn out well (for me)

One small gotcha — going through so many conversion steps can introduce some loss of fidelity to the original clothes and how it fitted on V4. Not all clothes are affected by this; some will autofit well, some just crumple up because of how they're built (e.g. some shoe models, as Tottallou mentioned). If this turns out to be a problem with the particular clothes you're trying to use, you might want to look into getting the clone shapes that let you do the conversion in one step.
