I have adjusted the new promo notification to work with the new slider. Please let me know if you experience any issues with it. Thank you. :)

TYVM I overlooked that option when I was trying to enable it. But I remember there being another number mine use to say the total worth of the account then the current worth depending on current prices and then the amount I spent.
Even though the feature mentions only two, these are actually three numbers. "Total value" is shown both at full price value and current value (including discounts).
A little suggestion (if you ever continue on that addon).
As example, I searched now for Wild West: https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=wild+west
Could it be possible to add a Checkbox at that page "show hidden", in case, I wanna recommend someone a product or someone talks about a product and I wanna search it and cant see it and think "hmm... I dont see it", so I can check short with hidden, or better ONLY hidden products.
Would be helpful if I talk with other users about it, without having to go to my account and deals page.
Something I've found would be handy: checkbox to only show New items on my wishlist, for when there's an offer that requires a new item.
The way I do this at the moment is type "new" in the store search, and then click the checkbox to only show wishlisted items. (And possibly sort by price low to high.)
As far as I'm aware, that's a search engine. This browser addon is for the Daz website.
Okay, thank you.
Hey ATI, can you help me please:
I wanna enable this notification, so I get the info. (for this: https://www.daz3d.com/the-brute-8) but I dont understand exact the link... it brings me to my wishlist, now I did clicked there on the "Get Email Notifications".
I did just unsubscribed from general wishlist mails, is it possible to get ONLY mails for invidual setups? I ... dont wanna spent too much money xD (I did this month already 70-80€ if I am not wrong ^^...) but I want this bundle:
https://www.daz3d.com/maxx-hd-mega-pack-for-the-brute-8
So i will need the Brute 8, but he is not in the best deal atm, so can I set it to 15$ alarm? (btw. my Daz original coupon from PC+ should work on it right? also at 15$ or just when its 18$+?)
Thanks! I hope I did not wrote too confusing :(
1. The first step is to sign up for email notifications. (If you don't want to get notifications of your wishlisted items going on sale, you can set the notification % to 99% or something. Although I would still set to to something lower, like 80%. If your wishlisted items go on sale at over 80% off, you surely want to grab them. :))
2. Enter that data you got during signup on the addon's options page (click the icon in the browser, then select the "Email notifications" tab). Remember that this is NOT your Daz login data! This is data you received in step 1.
3. You can now click under the price chart, and set notifications for individual items at the exact price point you want.
" If your wishlisted items go on sale at over 80% off, you surely want to grab them. :))" no... not if my Money is Limited because I have also a life outside of daz3d :P
I have over 400items on wishlist and already hundreds of Gb in Content so... I dont need ALL, but I like a lot ;)
My email and code should be correct :/ and... yeh also no idea where I have to click to signup again.
Update: it seems like I did somehow unsubscribed and did need a new code... my email was no longer aviable in your system, even if I still got Fastgrab emails, well I did it now again.
If you unsubscribe from wishlist notifications, that deletes your login data from our servers. Under the email address, click the "Need a passcode? Signup!" link, and follow the instructions to get a new one.
Wierd, when I first checked the boxes to show the values/spent it only showed current value and amount spent I went back to the page today and all 3 is showing back up :) As you can see from my attachment I am pretty good at hitting them deals daz has :) TYVM for making this plugin.
Ati, I've been noticing something for a little bit now and finally found time to report it. Whenever I filter out my wishlist for something and then click on an item to see more about it, when I return (Back button) to the wishlist, all my settings are being ignored. I've currently got Genesis 3 Male selected. I checked one of the products to see if it was the one I'm looking for and when I back, all characters are now selected. I routinely select Hide PC+ Items and when I return the list, they're all showing again. The other thing that keeps getting reset is the Sort By drop-down. The add-on used to retain its settings. I hope there's a way to fix this because it really impacts its useability (especially if you're fighting the clock on a Flash sale
). Thanks.
This depends on the browser (and thus can change from browser version to version), and is not something we can influence. My suggestion would be to open the item in a new tab (ctrl+click opens the item in a new tab); when you're done, close the tab (ctrl+w); and you're back to the original page with all filters and scroll positions retained.
Just adding that the mousewheel click opens links in a new tab too ...
Hi,
First of all, thank you for that add-on.
I'm trying to use the "Click to set individual notification" option as it seems to be a method even better than wishlist notifications since we can assume the next lowest expected price of an item depending of its past price fluctuation. But even though it seems to work fine, and i do get the notification when i test it out on an item, i noticed than once an item is set to individual notification and the "Click to set individual notification" changes into "Notification set for $x" and that we refresh the page (or come back later to the page) we get the "Click to set individual notification" message all over again like we didn't do anything.
There is no way to track our individual items price notification. I search in options, didn't find anything. I first thought those could be seen in the tab named "Manage items" in the add-on options, but I realized it was for galleries.
Is there a way to either keep the "Notification set for $x" message displayed all the time once it's set or access a list of individuals items we've set a price notification on, or both of those combined? Or maybe add a little icon to an item that has been "price set" and then access to the list to know what's the price we previously set it on.
The big issue right now is that we can come back to the same item over and over again, and set an individual price notification each time cause we forgot about it and we're not sure what price we set it on. So even though it's one of the best features of the add-on, the impossibility to track our individual price notifications makes it very confusing to use right now.
Thank you.
If you click the "Click to set individual notification" link, and you have already set a price, that price will show. This way it doesn't matter if you've forgotten whether you've set it to a certain item or not, you can always check.
Oh that's right, we could do that indeed, but it's still not practical at all and we still have to click on it to check everytime we view the item. Couldn't we get access to the list of items we set price notifications on? I guess the list is saved somewhere, isn't it? Just to get a grasp of how many items have been set and how many are left or have been validated. Like we have for the wishlist, or a small "$" icon like the little heart of the wishlisted items (that prevents us to click on item to check). For people who want to use that feature a lot, there is no inconvenience when we start using it, but it really adds up in the end, and a couple of years or even months later it becomes impossible to manage those items and know which item still is being waiting for a price drop (so we can set it up higher for example or just buy it) and which has not been set already.
Currently there is no such downloadable list, but there certainly could be one. I've saved this post to my todo list.
Thank you!
Also, your first answer above made me think about something. To continue and modify my first request above about changing the message displayed :
Instead of having so many different messages to click or modify - 3 in total : Click to set individual notification then, "Notify me at or below $ x" , then "Notification set for $ x" -, Wouldn't it be simpler if we had only the "Notify me at or below $ x" message (2nd one) displayed all the time?
I mean, when we think about it, what's the point of clicking on the first displayed message anyway if it always leads to the second message? And then, what's the point of having a 3rd validation message when the second message also displays the price set and has a validation button? I don't see why the 1st and 3rd message are here for except adding irrelevant steps to the process of setting price notification when it could be much simpler.
Plus, it would solve the issue I mentionned above, since we could instantaneously see if the viewed item is currently being monitored by the add-on or not, and at what price, and if needed, modify it on the fly. Instead of being unsure, and having to click to check what's hiding under set price notification message everytime we see an item we vaguely remember having already viewed. It could be just an option too, for people who still want to have the 1st diplayed message instead of directly the price, for whatever reasons.
If it's easy to do (like instead of removing it, auto activate the 1st link message when opening the page, and adding 3rd confirmation message under the 2nd one instead replacing it, something like that), that would be a great "addition" (well, removal technically) and would likely improve the workflow by a substantial amount when browsing the shop (for people using the feature a lot). If it's a hassle to do, it's alright, it still works fine but just less conveniant. Thank you for your attention.
For efficiency reasons, you need to do that extra click. There is no need to do database queries every time you look at a product, unless you are really interested in it.
Hmm, yeah, that's what i was afraid of. You mean performance issue from the user end making the page load for longer or that it would create too many requests for the servers? (trying to figure it out where it's blocking). But then what if it's made as an option (like hiding items, longtimeframe history, total spent etc)? So people not interested in it wouldn't be bothered by it. That option would make the first link auto activate when the page loads so it displays the second message right away.
Now, the thing is, as someone who really likes to use this particular add-on feature, most of the time, when i go as far as clicking on the item, it means I want to buy it most likely, or at least make an attempt get it at a low price one day. So, if it's optional, and doesn't affect other people not using it, it would be more beneficial than a inconvenience even though the page could take slightly longer to load.
Only thing is, i speak for myself, and i don't know how many people actually use this feature regularly and would benefit from that option regardless of the slight efficiency decrease. So unless i'm missing something (i'm probably am, but i still give this idea a try), provided enough people use this feature regularly and most important of all, if it's easily doable for you, I still think it could be a nice improvement and would be very helpful overall.
Aha! I didn't know that! Thanks - I'll try this.
The plugin doesn't seem to be working as of this morning (EST). Anybody else experiencing issues?
I was getting that too about half an hour ago, but it seems to be working for me now.
I got a bunch of price notifications just after rollover. The emails show a 75% discount, and the store was showing 75% for a while, but now the store is showing 50%. There wasn't a reason for the 75% discount, so I guess it was just Daz weirdness.
Lot of items were discounted for a short while. Probably an unintended sale.
Most likely due to above. Lots of notifications today, slowing down our server response.
