Dedicated Render Box With Daz Studio?

I ordered Pascal Nvidia cards, with the wait for Iray support I think I'll use the old cards for a dedicated render box - I could use that anyways since I could use it to render near 24/7.
I'm guessing it isn't recommended to point that box's library to a network share on the primary computer? It should have it's own local copy of your content?
Assuming the latter, I assume I can just copy the folder over, rather than install everything from DIM?

I believe people have successfully used network locations (I think Cypherfox uses Dropbox), but it may take some setting up.
When I set up my render box, I simply copied the content directories across to the new computer, using a high capacity USB drive. I don't use DIM or DAZ Connect, however. I'm not sure about DIM but this technique definitely would not work for DAZ Connect.
Cheers,
Alex.
Hmm, alright. I went ahead and ordered a HDD for this sytem, they're cheap enough now. It has a 90 GB SSD which certainly won't hold the OS + content.
I'll copy the directories like you did Alex, I figure it can also serve as a library backup as well. I do have a few Daz Connect items, I'll have to see how that works.
