We need the ability to hide downloads in Connect!

So, I have pretty much converted to downloading and installing all of my content through DAZ Connect.  But unlike with DIM, some of the products available through Connect simply aren't complete, and don't show any signs of being updated.  It would be a good option to be able to hide these products, to make finding new purchases easier and keep the available products tab better organized.

That sounds like an excellent suggestion. You should submit a help request in the product suggestion category.

I'm intending on creating a help ticket for all my DAZ Connect products that I have downloaded (all that it listed now) and DAZ 3D still says it needs 'Update'. It a pretty long list and some have failed multiple attempts to update and have done so for months now..

I think there are lots of situations where this would be very useful. For me I have lots of things in there I'm never going to want to download (mostly "built in" products I don't want and products from old bundles that just aren't very good). There are some things in there I'm sick of seeing.

I had hoped that the Install pane would add a lot of DIM's functions to Connect but as it is now I feel they shouldn't have even bothered with it.

Maybe I'm a little too sceptic here, but I can't help feel that this was intended behavior. Showing more stuff to you could theoretically also help persuade you to purchase it. As such you get something you can hardly control yourself.

The Install pane shows items you have already purchased, so it would be a bit late to persuade you to buy them.

The biggest issue for me is the products that aren't complete.  For example, I have Ola for G2F in my Available products, but I recently learned that the vendor for this product chose to sell it at Rendo, and that it was never intended for release here at DAZ.  So not only is the product incomplete (missing needed files), it will never be updated or fixed.

I also have the older TerraDome sets listed, but both are missing files, and wouldn't even work in DAZ anyway.  Why have them listed?  Having the ability to hide these pointless or broken products simply makes things easier to organize.

Better yet would be to restrict Connect to DAZ Studio functional products only.
