Installing DS 4.9

4.9 wants to install to a Daz 4 folder.  Will this overwrite version 4.8?

4.9 also wants to install content into My Library.  I thought that was changed to Content again.

    To question 1: YES.

    No idea about question 2.

    4.9 will overwrite 4.8 (unless it's the beta).  4.9 doesn't install any content; it will look for content in the same mapped directories you had before if you're upgrading,

    It will use \Daz 3d\Studio\MyDazConnectData (from memory) which sits alongside (but not in) the My Library folder for teh Connect Installs. You can of course chaneg that location if you wish.

    Yes, but it will still affect 4.8, as it will use the same appdata folders.

    Ok, thanks. Maybe I'll try the beta first.  I just want to make sure that I have no problems with 4.9 before making it my primary.  I'm very comfortable with my UI in 4.8.
