Breathing in and out, pulling belly in, flexing muscles...

Hi

I am a newbie and I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question.

In my project I will have to highlight details such as pulling the charatcer belly in, lifting its chest up, stretching up, flexing some muscle, etc...

I am looking for ways to do this

I have found the Alive series by SimonWM, which will be quite helpful - does anyone know if there are comparable other products? I assume it will work in DS 4.9 - do I need a special version of aniMate for this?

Also if I wanted to create some of my own, where would I start (I just need a couple of pointers)?

Thank you very much for your help!

Marc

  • For which figure? Most of the daz body moprh sest have an inhale morph, most of the figures have some kind of muscle morph pack and/or include some basic flexion morphs in the body morphs.

  • At the moment I am playing with Genesis 3 male and female, but I will probably use Victoria and Michael 4 eventually as there is an anatomy pack that will be very useful - but I am not sure yet this is a judicious choice!

I just came across the DFormer tool, which seems to be very promising too for some movements

  • These search results should get you started:

    http://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=anatomy

  • With the number of morphs available for gen 3 you should be able to do anything you want.  The gen 3 figures have much better materials and more morphs.  There is a muscle morph pack for gen 3 males and females.

  • Thanks! :-)

You'll need "Shape Shift" Add-on for that. Select your model, then in :

    Shaping / yourmodel / Waist

Use the Search filter to look for InOut

This will isolate morph controls for the abdomen and belly to simulate a breathing.
